PrairieSmoke Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 most exciting thing on that list to me is the Topes becoming regular. Always wanted to try one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Doctorossi Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Well, three new regular production vitolas is better than none. I'll be in the corner, clutching my shoulders in fear of this year's impending discontinuations list. 1
Artin Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Great post. Interested to see all of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lotusguy Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Thanks for the list! Some interesting stuff. Just gotta make sure you’re sitting down when you see the pricing 1
MasterShake72 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 I'd love to know more about the SCDLH LCDH release for sure. San Cristobal has very impressive pedigree on the discontinued lcdh releases and a new addition would be all over my radar...if theyre rolled at La Corona that is. 1
Wertman Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Wow a Cohiba that's pretty cool. Also @ElJavi76 will love the Topes. How exciting looks like some really good selections. 1
dageshi Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Going hard on Trinidad, wonder if it's an effort to establish another "premier" brand like Cohiba. Feel like Trinidad has the chops for it.

Expand How are the SC in the La Torreon jar? It's a little steep at 700-900 bones, but curious if they're any good

I wish they were selling them in boxes as well for $100 less per 25.
MasterShake72 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 @Derboesekoenig I completely forgot about the Torreon jar, I was thinking more about the Oficios and Mercaderes which are both classics and even the Muralla was solid. The Torreon are good sticks, but they don't seem to get me the way some people love them. Size is one issue for me and the other is that the experience doesn't meet the $30+ price point.
Derboesekoenig Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 I love that it includes an ashtray! So cool. I found them in Havana earlier this month, but by that point I had ran out of money. No bueno
cfc1016 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 I hope one of the SCDLHs is like a longer principe. If that thing were a lonsdale format, it’d be the all time champ. 1
Corylax18 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 So is the Vigia going away or are we gunna have two Trinidad Short Robustos? (and still not the one people actually want) Vigia - 54 Rg x 110 Topes 56 Rg x 125
bpm32 Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 Another H. Upmann jar--that's cool. Not a huge fan of those large ring gauges though.

That or a half corona. 1

Kicking myself now--I think I was too dazed to process everything.

I think habanos could do so much more with Trinidad but we get stuck with petite robustos. 1

Expand I want to say it was $400 or $500? I saw it at several places, including a non-LCDH shop in Old Havana selling a mixture of real and fake cigars.

havanaclub Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Surprised at the topes with the vigia being close to same size. Hopefully the other trinny is a double robusto RA no2 I will be all over that like a fat kid on blue smarties Cohiba LCDH release sounds interesting too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
